Oh dear I should have known better but Oh no I just had to have a hard head and say " I'll do it tomorrow
Famous last words
My Hard Drive went bad on me it was 8 years old
I guess I was just looking for an excuse to replace it...
I go a new Puter today from Walmart's..then took it in and added another Hard drive
But any way all the files but 2 have been downloaded the 2 are
Slackware-14.2
and
Slackware-14.2-DVD-Install.ISO
Now when I attempted to download these 2 It begins fine and after receiving 90% of the files I get
" Disconnected by server"
So I was on ftp.slackware.com
and had the same problem with mirrors.slackware.com
where else can I go ?
TIA

Reason: miss spelled words
If you're using Firefox, install the DownThemAll! addon and use that to download the ISO - if the connection is broken then it will make a good attempt at carrying on where it left off.
Alternatively, install a BitTorrent client if you don't already have one installed (e.g. Deluge), and download the ISO that way.

There are many, but I use KTorrent. Transmission is very popular. Also, you may already have a torrent client installed and not know it.
Go the below link and click the appropriate download you want. It should ask you if you want to save or open with: and see if it asks to open with a torrent client. If not then find/install one. http://www.slackware.com/getslack/torrents.php
