Question My Invisible Modem

Hello!

I've just made the switch from Windblows to Red Hat Linux, and I am anxious to surf the Internet. But Whenever I use the Internet Configuration Wizard, I get a message that Red Hat cannot detect a modem.

My computer is an Emachine with a HSP MR Modem. Does Linux not support that modem

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Sincerely,

Moonjasmine

I have had success only with external serial modems. Red Hat works just fine with them.
