[SOLVED] My Fedora 13 keeps freezing and freezing..

Man is this getting tedious. Like, really really tedious.
I have 2 problems here,(second solved) I'll start with the first. Fedora keeps freezing, when I'm at the terminal, and trying to download things, and just on sites in general. I've discussed this with my brother, who knows a considerable ammount more than I do on this, he said I had to download Fedora to my hard drive, to fix the problem of the me having to redownload, as with the freezing, We still have not come to conclusion on the freezing.

I'm not sure I can help you, but with some more information I or someone else might be able to help.

1. When you say you download from a terminal, which command/application do you use to download?

2. When you say when you have downloaded something you have to download it again, how do you mean? It freezes before downloading completely or the file is corrupt?

3. Have you tried to download from several places or just one site?

You could also provide us with an example of a program that you downloaded and had to redownload.

You may want to consider WHY there are 80 views and 0 posts.

If anyone wanted to help you, they wouldn't be able to as your post lacks information.

So you can't download via GUI/Terminal - what have you tried to download? What is the error you're getting back? What type of network connection do you have? What have you tried to do to solve the problem? What do you mean by "having to download everything twice"?

Hardware?
Running programs at the time of the freeze? (run top in a terminal window on the desktop)

Does download die when the system freezes? You might want to use wget, which can restart an interrupted download

For your second question, It freezes completely before the download is finished. For your third question, I've tried downloading Adobe Flash player, Firefox 4, and I only tried Google Chrome once, that was realistically, a waste of time.

you do know that firefox 4 IS IN TESTING ONLY AND NOT READY FOR EVERYDAY USE

please ANSWER THE QUESTIONS

what and HOW are you doing whatever it is you are doing ?

if we do not know WHAT you are doing then we can not help

Dear Posters, I'm sorry if this thread may have confused for the lack of information I have given. I will use this thread as a lesson to future threads on the information I will provide. It turns out, to fix all of the problems, I had to download Fedora to my hard drive. Long story short, thanks for all of your help.
