Multiple codes in input-event-codes.h file for FORWARD BUTTON/KEY

The input-event-codes.h contains multiple entries for FORWARD key,
1. #define KEY_FASTFORWARD 208
2. #define BTN_FORWARD 0x115

Does these codes are intended for different purpose? If yes, What are those?

There is one more key with a name FORWARD.

1. #define KEY_FORWARD 159 /* AC Forward */
2. #define KEY_FASTFORWARD 208
3. #define BTN_FORWARD 0x115

I am little bit confused which one should I use for my application.

they are three separate defines for three separate means of operation.

One is obviously for 'fast forward' by the use of a key stroke.

the other is simply just 'forward' by the use of a key stroke.

and third is simply just 'forward' by the use of a mouse button.

until you understand the differences between these three, I fear you will never be able to ascertain which one you should use for your application.

Thanks for clarification on different forward buttons and their usage.
It helped to understand significance of different buttons based on usage.
Again Thank you.!

you just need to learn how to decipher stuff, and in programming the importance of using descriptive variable names, and the use of descriptive naming schemes.
