Right now I have two hard drives. My first one is a 60GB that has SuSE 9.2 on it. My second hard drive is 120GB that I used with windows just as storage. All that I have on the 2nd hard drive is music, videos and pictures. I can acces the second hard fine, I can watch my videos, listen to my music and view my pictures. But when I want to move a file to my second hard drive I always get the error :
So I figure the it has to doing something with my permissons, so I go into my fstab and find out:

So I see that the hard drive is NTFS and I read from the SuSE website that Fortunately, read access to NTFS partitions is very stable. On the other hand, write access might damage the whole NTFS file system of the corresponding partition. Now they say that I should Create a partition with the file system FAT32 and use it for accessing a shared data pool from Linux and Windows and for exchanging data.

It sounds good to me but I have no idea how to create that partition and I was wondering if you guys could help me out on how to do that. Any help would be great thanks.

well first of all :

Could not make folder /windows/C/My Videos/Be Cool.

thats wrong...you can't leave any spaces in between names when it comes to directorys in Linux...you have to fill the gaps using "\" so the whole thing should look like:

/windows/C/My\Videos/Be\Cool

the other thing....about creating a partition...assuming that you still have some space left....you can use cfdisk to create some new partitions on your computer.........cfdisk is useful cause its graphical so you should know what to do.......orelse you have to use fdisk /dev/(harddrive goes here)

SweetChris got it wrong. you can't write because, as you say, this is a NTFS partition and you have not the proper tools to do that. and yes, the best is to convert the storage partition to fat32. how? very easy! use http://gparted.sourceforge.net or http://qtparted.sourceforge.net/ they are VERY user-friendly!
