Question Mounting CD in CentOS on Hyper-V virtual build

I am trying to create a CentOS 6.4 system on a Hyper-V virtual machine manager. Once I load the OS, there is no network configuration. I have found several docs to help me set this up but am required to mount cd or mount dvd or mount iso files. The commands to mount that I have tried also include examples such as "mount /dev/sd0 /mnt/cdrom", "mount -t iso9660 -o ro /dev/cdrom /cdrom " or "# mkdir /mnt/cdrom
# mount -t iso9660 -o ro /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom" are saying that I am mounting the wrong file system type. I have tried ext2, nfs, autofs and every other file system that I can think of and am getting the same error regarding the file system type. Please help me...

I'd think that Centos would automount disks if the user has the correct permissions to do that. I'd be more concerned as to how you are using the VM to attach or make available some iso image to the client.
