mount alcatel 1010x phone

Hi.

I have an old Alcatel 1010X and I want to mount it using my linux box.

I connected the phone via usb but the device is not recognized. The commands 'lsblk' and 'lsusb' doesn't give me the information I need.

I found the 'gammu' package on the internet, but the command 'gammu-detect' couldn't detect the phone.

I couldn't find any drivers for this model.

Can you help me?

Have you tried using MTP?

Wait a second, I've just realised I have this model kicking around at home. It's not a smartphone. Are you sure that's what you want to connect to?

short answer: if it has a usb connector, you can connect it. it should just show up like any other usb storage.

long answer:
how old is this phone?
what os does it use? android?
do you have to enable something on the phone first?
