modprobe: command not found....?

Yo!

I try to use modprobe in order to install bizarre usb device...

But command is not found according to bash!

modprobe: command not found....?

So...is there some other command, or something wrong?

su to root and then try running it. if it's not found then your path has been set incorrectly (probably via the "su" try "su -" instead...).

try the full path, nearly always /sbin/modprobe
