Most of the Linux OS do not have support for HSF modem, that is the reason that this driver is not working for you...

So,Just look for HSF modem drivers here http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/

they provide free drivers for speed upto 14.1 kbps and you require to purchase for drivers with full support.

Do lookout for other options with HSF drivers on Linux

regards

Thnks for the reply.
I visited the link and downloaded the files and it installed properly.
But the thing happened is fc5 crashed and I had to reload fc5.Now I have upgraded to fc6 and not like to test it again.
