mobile micro sd card gets mounted in read only mode

I am using ubuntu 10.04.
My samsung e2120 has external micro sd card of 2GB.
When i connect mobile to computer via cable in windows , it works normal as USB mass storage as configured by me in mobile settings.
But in case of ubuntu 10.04
Code:
$cp /data/to\ send/khatarnak\ shayri.txt /media/E0FD-1813/
cp: cannot create regular file `/media/E0FD-1813/khatarnak shayri.txt': Read-only file system
$sudo cp /data/to\ send/khatarnak\ shayri.txt /media/E0FD-1813/
[sudo] password for lxuser:
cp: cannot create regular file `/media/E0FD-1813/khatarnak shayri.txt': Read-only file system
Also My pendrive & mobile card have same mount option i.e
Code:
dev/sda6 on / type ext3 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
proc on /proc type proc (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev)
none on /sys type sysfs (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev)
none on /sys/fs/fuse/connections type fusectl (rw)
none on /sys/kernel/debug type debugfs (rw)
none on /sys/kernel/security type securityfs (rw)
none on /dev type devtmpfs (rw,mode=0755)
none on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,noexec,nosuid,gid=5,mode=0620)
none on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw,nosuid, nodev)
none on /var/run type tmpfs (rw,nosuid,mode=0755)
none on /var/lock type tmpfs (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev)
none on /lib/init/rw type tmpfs (rw,nosuid,mode=0755)
/dev/sda3 on /data type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=4096)
none on /proc/fs/vmblock/mountPoint type vmblock (rw)
binfmt_misc on /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc type binfmt_misc (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev)
gvfs-fuse-daemon on /home/lxuser/.gvfs type fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon (rw,nosuid,nodev,user=lxuser)
/dev/sdb1 on /media/PENDRIVE type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=udisks,uid=1000,gid=1000,shortname=mixed,dmask=0077,utf8=1,flush)
/dev/sdc1 on /media/E0FD-1813 type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=udisks,uid=1000,gid=1000,shortname=mixed,dmask=0077,utf8=1,flush)
the last noteworthy thing is if I run my puppy from USB card works as desired so this problem is particular in ubuntu.

Thank You, gdejonge.
I also read man page of mount which said
Code:
 mount -o remount,rw /dir
mount reads fstab (or mtab) and merges these options with options from command line ( -o ).
I wonder that thank button is gone.
