If this is from source forge, this is a web based PHP project. So you need to be running a web server to use it, configure php for apache, edit the config file (there is an example config.php) and point your web server to index.php to invoke it.

There, it might spit up some dependencies or libs but none are noted.

Read the previous posts, as it's clear the OP doesn't need LDAP, and has moved on from that.
