Maui and Torque schedular

Im using torque-2.3.6 and maui 3.2.6

Im unable to use partition over there.

Can anybody specify the exact difference between queue and partition??

i.e when to use partition? when to use queue? their advances over one another? their uses? etc

Thanks in advance
