First I'm on SUSE
I need to know how to download courier new cyrilic characters so I can read my email on Gmail.
I need to know how to get photoshop working so I can work. VINE?
And what else...? I'm a photographer and using this machine is a bit irritating because nobody writes support apps for it or even major apps like said photoshop and lightroom. Not Canon, for my camera, not... anyways.

But I have to say that its nice not to be "Welcomed" to "My Computer"

I've never had an issue with gmail on OpenSUSE, what browser are you using?

Do you need photoshop, or do you just need a comprehensive image processing tool? GIMP does not have all of the functionality of Photoshop (far from it), but it's very good at what it does. If GIMP is not enough, this tutorial might help:

You could always install a VM with windows and photoshop, assuming you use the computer for more than just photoshop and only need access to it periodically.

Its SUSE enterprise. I think the problem was with adobe .pdf I dled an attachement inn cyrilic which it didn't read. frustrating.
