Mandriva 2005

Hi,

I have just purchased Mandriva 2005 from www.thelinuxshop.co.uk . Everything has installed fine but I cannot seem to get my internal modem working so I can use my dial-up account.

Any pointers on how to get this working?

Would buying an external 56k modem solve these modem problems, I hear these are all compatible with Linux.

Make sure its a serial (RS232) modem. These tend to work well with Linux.
