Unhappy Mandrake graphical interfaces (getting to them)

I got the new version of mandrake linux last week but I have not been able to get to the graphical interfaces. I turn the computer on then I log in with the owner name and pass. Then it says "[quox@localhost quox]$_". then it gives me the opertunity to enter a command. I type in "startx". then it says a whole lot of stuff. near the bottom it says "Fatal server error: no screens found Please consult the The X.Org Foundation support at http://wiki.X.Org for help" I go there and it says that no screens found is a general error but I can't find another error. I need help.

It means that there is a problem with the way that you have configured your xserver and you may have to run "xorgconfig" as root to reconfigure it.
