Keep in mind I am a Windows user by default, however i'm trying my best to endulge in the goodies on the other side of the glass [window reference, heh]

Anyways, I've installed Mandrake 9.1 and been using it for a couple of days. I figured out how to activate Apache [seeing as it was installed already]

I've searched all over the file system and can't seem to find any trace of an FTP server installed. I'm curious as to which servers are good to run, if any are installed with Mandrake by default, and how I might go about installing one.

I prefer proftp for a server. I am not sure about mandrake 9.1, but I think that the older versions install wuftp by default. This server has had quite a few security issues so I would stay away from it, unless you update it asap.

any suggestions as to where i can find the install file for proftp?
