MAKEFILEs


I downloaded this program and am having trouble installing it. It has these MAKEFILEs but i dont know what to do. i dont know how to compile or anything. please help

Try running make?

And reading the commonly accompanying README's
always is a good idea, too!

to compile you usually open a command shell and type, go to the directory where you placed the program and type

./configure; ./make; ./make install

or u can use

./configure
make all

so it combine ./make and ./make install in 1 single step....
