makefile in RTAI-3.6.2

hai...
i am new to rtai. I have patched rtai-3.6.2 with kernel 2.6.22 on fc9. Installation was proper and the latency test went through properly...but when i tried to compile a simple program with start_rt_timer(),rt_task_init(), compiler is giving unknown symbol warning.....when i tried to load the module, it is giving "error inserting 'periodic.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module".

can somebody provide few examples of rtai with makefiles....please give links on RTAI makefiles for c++

regards..
sarayu

Are you able to write successfully simple "Hello world" non-real time module and insmod it?

Try posting this question to RTAI mailing lists and also check the documentation link on the left side:
https://www.rtai.org/index.php?modul...position=19:19

I used to refer http://www.captain.at/ site for RTAI and device driver issues, but for unknown reasons it is completely down for now

thanks for reply...yes..i could load a simple "hello world" module in non real time context....absolutely there is no problem in doing insmod of that module.

In post number 2, I did give you the mailing list address of the RTAI, people there might be able to help you! Try that.
