well this is purely clientside, and you've presumably not got a default mail client setup.

mailto

I still have this problem with mailto

basically when I click on a mailto link in a web site < contact or something like that >
I get the following answer

mailto is not a registered protocol .... This happens in all the browsers set up on my Mandrake 9.1 So its not a mozilla problem ??

Evolution is set as E Mail client !

Some body tried to help me with this link but I dont understand it only talks a bout thunderbird

any body else have this problem

Have you installed the mozex extension? The link I gave you says how to set it once you install it and run it. Check the mozex home page. Also search for "mailto" at mozillazine.org.

From the mozex page:
Quote:
UNIX: How do I use Evolution to handle mailto: links ?

evolution mailto:%A?Subject=%S&Cc=%C&body=%B
So install mozex on Mozilla and then configure it as above. That should do it I think.
