The remote MTA refused the connection.

Did you try:
- telnetting to deliver a test email to one of the 10/8 addresses?
- accessing the external MX associated with the domain?
- checking remote MTA maillogs?

We use office 365 for our emails. Your saying I need to add one for the mrbs Linux server?
No to telnet have you a command?
Where are the MTA logs?

I am unable to telnet to the server. Connection refused.

Very sorry new to this.

I have tried to use sendmail instead of postfix. I removed postfix and installed sendmail.

Code:
: Connection refused by wacc.ac.uk
You likely need to talk to the admins there ...

Bad move

You edited your original post to edit out crucial information.
And without giving any reason.
All support options void.
I'm out of here.
