lost my passwd in opensuse - how to get access again


hello dear linux - experts


i run opensuse 12.2 -

after a update-process with opensuse 12.2 -
note i wanted to upgrade to 13.1 - but the proecss failed.

now i cannot log in again;:

lost my passwd in opensuse - how to get access again

don't you think you should have linked to your previous thread so that potential helpers don't have to start from zero?

anyhow from what i gather from your two previous threads you pretty much borked your system by now and should just reinstall - but this time read the opensuse wiki!

This is not surprising, since you ignored all the advice you received.

Again, as with several of your other threads, have you tried using the LQ Search function, or Google?? This has been asked and answered many, MANY times already. The very first hit in Google was:
http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Recover_root_password

...from openSUSE, with complete directions. Please, try to look things up on your own first.
