Angry Login problem with RH 7.1

I still am a and I don't understand way I can't log in to Red Hat 7.1. I still follow the rule of upper- and lower-case.
How do I get in to LILO ? I received an advice that say; try linux single att LILO promt. I try to get in at two different promts and they don't accept what I type.

I read a site at Red Hat that describe a problem with RH 6.2 that's similar to the one I got. It say that the AMD Duron processor don't work with RH 6.2 but there is a way to solve that.
Is it the same problem with RH 7.1 and 7.2 ? Is there someone how knows about this ?

Where exactly is the problem? Is it telling you that you have a wrong username/password? If not, what's it giving you?

if you can't login, getting invalid user or password, at the lilo prompt type this: Linux 1
this should bring you to a command prompt without a username and password and from there you should be able to change your users password, username, whatever you need to login...
