ah well it kinda worked for some reason I couldn't be the root when I did it but I still have no video.... here's the whole message

also it's in my list of plugins for firefox but I still don't understand the need for the log out not even windows makes you do this...

ah ok didn't have java installed but I still wonder why running as the root gave me so many problems with installing flash...never made a difference with version 11....very odd
