Linux security help on /etc/security folder...............


Hello Team,
Any one have idea how to configure the files under /etc/security/ folder in linux.I have tried with access.conf for disable some accounts login localy and through LAN but its not working properly.If any one have idea on this please help or send the URL from where I can Lean more on this.

Hi and welcome, first of all, can you tell us what distro you are using, secondly could you post the contents of the access.conf file.

How is it not working properly? are users still be able to log into the machine, what programs are they using to log into with, ssh, ftp, etc.
