Linux Reboots Automatically after power off
Hi,
I am using Redhat 6.
Whenever I shut down the system (no matter whether i use
gui shutdown button or
shut down before/after login or
terminal commands -like shutdown -p, poweroff -f, halt --poweroff, init 0 etc.)
system reboots automtically after a couple of seconds after
the system shuts down.
I tried disabling all 'wake-up/power-on' settings provided
in BIOS, but the problem persists.
With ACPI disabled it does not reboot but ends up in a message
"system halted" (it does not power-off).
What could be the problem? How shall I make it work with ACPI
enabled?
Thanks and regards,
Kthurst
