Linux Printer HP

I have configured a printer on RHEL

When i issure lpr command it gets scheduled in the queue but it is not printed by the printer.

Following command shows everything is working fine.
lpq

HPLaserJet1320 is ready and printing
Rank Owner Job File(s) Total Size
active install 74 test.txt 1024 bytes
1st install 75 test.txt 1024 bytes

lpstat -r
scheduler is running

Somebody suggested me to run modrpobe, is it goint to be useful to run that

What could be the problem

Thanks

Can you print from a program?

Can you print a test page from the print setup utility (or from the CUPS page (localhost:631))?

I think that using lp from the command line requires that the printer be set as the default (even if it is the only one)
