Hi
I am using linux-3.12.10 kernel in ubantu 12.04 for linux open sourse graphics driver packeging i ran this command :
fakeroot make-kpkg --initrd --append-to-version=-1-custom kernel-image kernel-headers

after 3+ hour compilation i am getting this error

so pl's anybody can tell me how can solve this problem

I'm not the expert, so, the only things I can think of is that you may not have all of the kernel tarball extracted, or maybe not all of the the packages installed, like build-essential and fakeroot.

sudo apt-get install build-essential fakeroot

Today i build the new customise kernel but while i Reboot the system its not booting with new kernel(custom) but when i select the kernel in recovery mode system is booting successfully.
so i am not recognise why it's happening.
