Linux Mint/Canon printer

I'm running Linux Mint. I bought the Canon Pixma MG2920 all in one. It installed and worked fine. I had to re install Mint due to computer moving extremely slow. Since then, the printer is not getting the print message.

Any advice?

Canon proprietary driver installed?
Network or usb attached?
Can you share how it is configured in /etc/cups/printers.conf?
