Linux for Asus Vivobook X541UA-DM1358D

Hi LQ,

I am a newbie. Just doing research to try and get myself started on a Linux based OS. I have a new laptop (Asus Vivobook X541UA-DM1358D) with DOS and am wondering what might be the best Linux based OS for this hardware? I looked here --- but didn't find info for my laptop.

Not very good with the language of computers so on a steep learning curve here. Will be grateful for all the help.

Thanks,
rodya

Looking at the spec sheet here, I don't see anything awkward.

Download a few distros & run them 'live' to see what you like.
