Linux Clones ???


I need some of the programs in Linux corresponding to my
windows appz

CD Writing simillar to Nero( i need a very good one)
Download Manager like Flashget
FTP Client like Flash FXP
AVI Editing s/w like VirtualDub
Chating s/w like Trillian

please help

For chatting, I believe the big program that people use is "gaim". You can get it from sourceforge.

I wouldn't know about the others.

d4x = downloader 4 X
Search on Google for 'd4x'. Their site appears to be not working though. You can look at Google's cached page.

One of the most important apps:firebird - just type some glibberish and it takes you to the site you need.
