Linux - chage

Hi there,

I am new to linux and installed centos 8.
When I try to excute the below command, the terminal doesn't show any output. Command is executing without error but no output.

chage -l <existing username>

I guess, the normal output should display user password properties.

Thanks

Are you doing it as root or sudo? You may not get results running that command as a user.
