Im trying to install some version of linux to an old 486dx 50 w/ 32mb ram. it wont boot from the cdrom. so far ive tried red hat, and slackware boot and rootdisks. while booting from the floppies i get the same error everytime.

anybody gotta clue what this is? i was figuring this was a hardware error, but ive got dr-dos 7.03 installed on there now and everything seems to work fine.
