I am trying to edit my lilo config and i have changed the time for it to select a OS but i want to change it to boot windows as my primary OS, any tips from the info below would be helpfull

As for the reply above from SirSlappy I think he needs a good slappy OK, this section of the forum is for newbies and that is what i am.
I do think! that is why I want to learn Linux.
I also think enough not to add to my posts childish descriptions of my systems wether they be "Dell" (just stoped laughing) or any other system.
Remember I only asked a Linux question on a Linux forum.
As you will find, n00b, those childish descriptions are pretty common and are there partly to help anyone who wants to help me.
The Dell Inspiron 8500 is quite challenging to use with linux and, believe it or not, Dell sold quite a few of those laptops. Some of the ones they sold went to linux users and there are pages on the net all about linux on those laptops.
It's obvious you are a newbie.
I wasn't trying to insult you previously. I only wanted you to look at the config file and think for yourself. I was trying to be helpful in a way that you might go do some research (or even just take a stab at changing lilo.conf) and learn something.
