lilo boot screen size

my dumb ass cant seem to remeber how i changed my boot screen size. its default right now and i want to make it 1280x1024. i could just edit the /etc/lilo.conf if im correct but the way i did this before was by using some gui front end for lilo. i just cant remember its been too many months now. could someone refresh my memory. running red hat 8.0

not sure how to compute it but here's for the 1024x768@256 line from a defulat lilo.conf of slack.

# VESA framebuffer console @ 1024x768x256

u can declare this line within the global section of your lilo.conf (use vi or pico or gedit - as long as you are root).

then run /sbin/lilo -v to apply the changes.
