Question LibreOffice installing

I have got problem with installing Libreoffice.
I don't know why, but my OpenOffice is not working!
So, I downloaded libreoffice......tar.gz and extracted it, but there is 45 and more deb files. I open it (Linux Mint) but it can't install.
What should I do???
Thanks

After Googling, 'Mint Libreoffice TGZ', this looks like the best bet for your problem. Go to the link, read their procedure. I'd say you're already in that direction.

libre office is not in the mint repos ?????????
that is very odd if it is not , it should be by now ( maybe not 3.3 )

check your package manager

LibO_3.3.0_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US.tar.gz
is this it ( the EN-US might be different for your language ) )and the x86 might be different if it is the 64 bit os version )

DID you READ the install instructions ?
/LibO_3.3.0rc4_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US/readmes
README_en-US

you want to also install this one ( see the instructions )
LibO_3.3.0rc4_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US/DEBS/desktop-integration
libreoffice3.3-debian-menus_3.3-6_all.deb

"sudo dpkg -i *.deb"
