Launcher for specific document

I am using Xubuntu 13.04 and want to add a new launcher to the bottom panel.

I need to create a launcher to launch a specific Abiword document. I have the properties window open but don't know what to put in the command section.

I tried Abiword /home/me/Documents/abiwordsample.abw

This doesn't work at all and I think I am using the wrong syntax.

That's odd -- I did just that and it seems to work fine. What happens when you run the command from a terminal?

That should work. The only thing I can see that would cause it to not work would be that you have the abiword command capitalized. Basically anything that works in the terminal should work in a launcher.

Well spotted -- when I tested it I automatically used lower case.

OK. Thanks for the suggestions! Out of habit, I usually keep everything lowercase. I'll check in the terminal and see what happens. One reason I like the terminal. Great way to test stuff!
