konqueror and cdparanoia

I am in Kubuntu 8.04. I want to try Konqueror for ripping. I understand Kong uses cdparanoia. Is it possible to disable error ckecking in cdparanoia to speed up ripping using Kong.

Open a konsole (terminal) and type: man cdparanoia for a list of available options.
