Killing running processes on Zenwalk 2.8

Here's my current situation. For some reason xine is just hanging there and doesn't close when I try to close it. Neither does ctrl+esc or F1 etc work to bring up my process table thing.

I did 'ps' from command and found only this:

PID TTY TIME CMD
3943 pts/1 00:00:00 bash
3975 pts/1 00:00:00 ps

I don't see xine there and I'm trying to play music but xine doesn't open while there's another one running. So for the time being, while I'm writing this, I'm using the console (mpg321) to play my music . Any help on this will be appreciated.

Using XFCE 4.something

Do "ps -A" instead. If Xine is still running it will be in that list.
A "kill [processnumber]" or "sudo kill [processnumber]" should finish the job.
