kernal panic - not syncing : VFS : Unable to mount root fs on unknown - block(202,3)


i am getting error "kernal panic - not syncing : VFS : Unable to mount root fs on unknown - block(202,3)" while installing fedora core 7

Hi and welcome to LQ!

Can you tell us more about your setup, hard disks, types, connections, BIOS boot order and HDD detection, and where in the install it failed.
