KDE/Konsole

Hey all.

I got a couple of questions.

When i run commands in the console, certain objects show up different colours (eg. blue for directories, green for binariers etc)

However after i run a few commands, the default to the standard color text. Thus i need to restart the konsole to get a color scheme happening, only to have to restart it a few commands later.

2 - When i add a program to my KDE start menu (like firefox) sometimes i get two applications running. One is the actuall program the works, and the other is the same program only it keeps on loading and doesnt load at all, about 30 seconds later it closes. Any tips?

Ignore that. The effect takes place. Open firefox, then open an html document thats on the desktop or a place like that with firefox, you'll see that it opened in the existing firefox window, but it shows as if its loading something.

Basicly instead of openning a new instance it "tells" the existing instance to open a new window or just load the webpage in existing window depending on how you have set it up.

are there any particular commands (or combinations of commands) which kill the colour or does it happen regardless of the commands that you use?
