This is driving me nuts!

GTK2

Okay, i believe that an update to GTK 2 has caused my cursor to change for non-kde applications, which means when i use firefox my cursor changes from the "gentoo" theme (which is lovely and pink and pretty) to this really nasty looking white hand! It isn't just my cursor, of course, it's the whole theme, but it's the curser that's driving me insane!

I've emerged: x11-themes/gtk-engines-qt and x11-themes/gtk-chtheme and whilst this added a GTK option in appearance / themes, amending them doesn't change anything. I've unmerged these because they made mozilla apps really unstable.

I don't think this is something that is just going to stop annoying me so any help/advice/suggestions would be appreciated!

i found my firefox really ugly in KDE (using gentoo). I don't remember emerging GTK2 (but I may have *shrugs*) but I _do_ remember emerging x11-themes/gtk-engines-qt and x11-themes/gtk-chtheme

Don't remember the cursors changing... I'm going to re-install Gentoo this week. I'll give it a look at. In the meantime, I remember there was a new entry in my K menu under system or something, that was a GTK theme changing thing.
