Unhappy KDE and Sound Problems?


Hi every one!

Recently I Install RH9.0 on my nforce2 chipset based motherboard. But I'm able to hear sound only in Gnome, while in KDE, there is no sound. Is there any help ? Thanx

Athlon XP 2500+
M/B MSI K7n2 Delta ILSR
GeForce 4 MX 440 SE
512 MB Ram
2 80GB Samsung Puma HD
LG 52x CD-Writer

It seems as if you're using a soundserver in gnome. Enable it in the kde control center, too.

You can also try starting kmix in KDE and adjust the volume through the mixer window. Sometimes the default volume is zero.
