Java problem after upload with gFTP

Hello,

Today I encountered a misterious problem with java scripts embedded in html.

Here is what have caused the problem:

1. I edited a page with Quanta. All elements of the page are pre-designed templates, tuned and tested years ago. There is but little chance to mess them up.

2. I uploaded edited pages with gFTP.
3. I opened it in Mozilla, Galeon, Konqueror and IE to check if it works as expected, and.....

Every page on the site has a SSI java navigation bar.
After upload with gFTP navigation had corrupted, note, only in the files which have been uploaded.

I thought, the problem has to do with ascii or binary upload. I tried both but the result wasn't any different.

You can see corrupt java on these pages:
http://violadabraccio.com/historical_violin/nails.shtml
and
http://violadabraccio.com/historical_violin/

Note, I did not change anything within the script itself or position of the SSI includes. HTML is identical, but in one case ot works, in another it doesn't.
Only Mozilla and Galeon show the problem with java on the above pages; Konqueror on my box and IE Windzoo on another box work fine.

Java works fine elsewhere on the site:
http://violadabraccio.com/

Do you have any idea?
Rgds,
Dmitry

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly but wouldn't you deduce that this is a browser problem if it works in IE and Konqueror?

Well, I am not sure it is just a browser problem.

The reason I think so is in the fact that java works on every page throughout the site in all browsers.

Here are the browsers I tested:

Konqueror - fine, except some differences with CSS
Mozilla - fine, except the two pages mentioned above
Galeon - fine, except the two pages mentioned above
IE 6 -
Netscape 7 - .

I suspeced gFTP being the cause. Indeed, I uploaded nails.shtml simply to test. As a result java doesn't parse correctly. As far as I can see, there is a problem with gFTP, but I don't see what's the problem. ASCII or BINARY make no difference, although, I guess, *.shtml has to be uploaded as ASCII.

News:

I re-uploaded the two problematic files with WS_FTP, and the problem of Java navbar was solved.

Now we can be sure, there something strange with gFTP. What that might be
