iwatch showing error?

I am trying out iwatch tool for real time monitoring of the filesystem.
All I downloaded and ran the command:
Code:
Can't locate Event.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib64/perl5/5.8.5/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5 /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.4/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.2/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.2 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.2/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.1/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.2 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.1 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl) at ./iwatch line 14.
the iwatch 14th line says:
Code:
use Event;
What package I need to install?

depends on your distro. but perl you may also/only need the perl-Event module.

do something like:

## i don't have a FC install close by but this will list all the perl mods you can install from outside perl. I would install
## perl try it and if you still get the error look for the perl-event or perl-Event mod. Same with the SuSe command but you
## should get the idea.

[Fedora] sudo yum search perl*
[SuSe] sudo zypper se perl perl-Event

"i don't use dumbian, i mean debian. So no clue in ubuntu or dumbian, i mean debian."
But it will be about the same, i think the app is called aptitude in ubuntu and its apt-get in debian or use to be...
