Itnernational language settins, only english?


Hi I have RH9. I would like to choose different language before logging in.. and most of the things works and are translated fine, but some programs, like GAIM for example, show only square boxes instead of readable fonts.. Is there anything I could do about it or am I stuck with English?

well, I can do it before logging in
just check before enter your user name in the place where the toolbar uses to be, it has to say "languages" somewhere

but dont trust me completely, Im just a

thanks Ack. I'm a newbie too Yes I select different (russian) language before logging in. All menus are fine, but apps dont show correct fonts.

i think u should set your own native language when u install linux. to me, i sellect chinese when i start install RH 9.0. it works fine!
