iso.bz2 prob


does anyone know how to setup a iso.bz2 so i can simply burn it (obviously so i can boot off of it)??? i'm trying to see how the netbsd live cd will act on a laptop.. i've looked through the forums but if i missed something please post a link since i would have missed it already.

You need to uncompress it to a .iso first, on Linux you can use bunzip2, for windows I think winzip/winrar handles bz2 files.
Then you burn the CD using the iso file as the image, don't burn the actual file on the CD.

thanx for the info. i uncompresssed it and just realized that it is too big for my cdr's. gonna have to run to the store and get a couple of 700mb cdr's.
