Internet connection problem lite 4.4


hello everybody,
totally new and have just installed lite 4.4, i cannot get on the internet to my wifi connection, no connections show.
with ethernet i have the same problem , nothing is seen. i guess it is drivers but i can't install them as i have no connection
could anybody please suggest anything?
i am not really savvy so nothing too complex if possible!
thanks in advance.

The first thing needed is your wireless and ethernet chipsets. If you run the command lspci in a terminal, that information should display (you may have to run the command as root).

Also, what is the output of either ifconfig -a or ip addr (ip is a newer command; some distros have both, some have only one).

Also, what is the make/model of the computer?

Post the output of the commands here, being sure to surround any terminal output with "code" tags which become available when you click the "Go Advanced" button beneath the compose post window.

Thank you very much and sorry for the late reply, this is all very new to me so i go slowly! , here is the information you asked for,

Model HP Stream x360 2gb ram 32gb memory, a small ssd laptop mainly to take on holiday.
