internal server error :(

I get this on the browser when i try to run a php script..
In the error log, it says:
"Premature end of script headers"

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Here's how i defined the directory where php scripts are, just in case:
ScriptAlias /forum/ "/var/www/cgi-bin/forum/"
<Directory "/var/www/cgi-bin/forum">
AddType aplication/x-php .php .php3 .php4
AddType aplication/x-php-source .phps
Options Execcgi
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>

(I'm trying to set up phpbb on my apache server)

Thanks!

I believe that if you were to shift your scripts to /var/www/html/ all would be fine. That the default directory anyway. And when you have apache running and type http://localhost in a browser you would see the directories under /var/www/html

Get it? I have jsut setup phpbb on my apache server so if you need any more advise, I guess i can help.

i tried to move it to /var/www/htdocs/forum but it's still giving me the same error..
By the way, i also changed the doc_root of the php.ini file to /var/www (not sure if that was necessary..?)

In the error_log, i see that when i restart apache, it gives a warning:
[Sun Jun 20 00:17:42 2004] [notice] SIGUSR1 received. Doing graceful restart

PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/extensions/mysql.so' - libmysqlclient.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

[Sun Jun 20 00:17:45 2004] [notice] Apache/1.3.28 (Unix) PHP/4.3.3 configured -- resuming normal operations

The file "mysql.so" is in that directory, i don't see why it can't find it. It is also loaded by default in php.ini.

Vincent

edit: i can't go to http://localhost since i didn't install any graphical interface, but the web server works fine for any html document.
