Installing XP guest on RH9 host with VMware 4

Finally managed to get the VMware installed (was a corrupted rpm db which needed to be rebuilt)

Now, I am trying to install XP Pro as a guest OS and here's what I'm doing
Pop in the XP install CD and start up VMware and click the Power ON button for the VM that I've just created.

Nothing happens !!

What am I missing ?

VMware version 4
Host : RH 9
Guest OS : Win XP Pro

You need to ensure the bios is set to boot from cd and I mean the bios in VMware. You should treat VMware as though you are doing a fresh install on your pc.

Did that already i.e. bios in VMware set to boot from CDROM
Doesn't do much.

Is there anything else I can try ?
