Unhappy installing wine

pls help on how to install wine, tried few times but no luck!

Which distribution are you using, what have you tried exactly and which error-messages did you get?

Microsoft windows compatibility layer(meta package) 56MB, doesn't show any error but just couldn't finish download

What distro are you using?

How are you trying to install it?
